The Partnership for Healthier Communities (PHC) is an Inova Health System program, with additional financial support from the Virginia Health Care Foundation (VHCF). The Northern Virginia Health Foundation (NVHF) is devoted to improving the health and medical care of Northern Virginians, with a particular focus on the health needs of the uninsured. The Jackson and Robins Foundations have also been key partners in the effort to reduce the impact of the pandemic on the region, organizing a series of resilience training seminars for Richmond nonprofit organizations on risk assessment and mitigation in their organizations. The Virginia Health Care Foundation (VHCF) has been instrumental in providing financial support to PHC and other initiatives that aim to improve the health of Northern Virginians.
VHCF also sponsors a website that provides data, resources and tools to help the community be and stay healthy. The Northern Virginia Health Foundation has been working to improve the health of Northern Virginians through its work to examine premature mortality in Northern Virginia, both before the pandemic and in its first two years. NVHF provides strategic grants to nonprofit organizations that address the healthcare needs of Northern Virginians, with special emphasis on those living in Arlington, Fairfax, Loudoun and Prince William counties and in the cities of Alexandria, Fairfax, Falls Church, Manassas and Manassas Park. These partnerships demonstrate how organizations can come together to make a difference in the lives of countless Virgos every day. Through their collective efforts, these foundations are helping to ensure that Northern Virginians have access to quality healthcare and resources that can help them stay healthy.
